Overview
eXtended Reality for Training Green Skills in the Construction sector (XRGREEN.CON) aims to promote circular economy issues in construction by showcasing examples, best practices and lessons to be learned through AR/VR gamified educational simulations. We will train educators in the sector to be skilled in the use of extended reality and circular themes to design and develop learner-centred experiences. It will enable stakeholders working in the sector to experience and practice real-life situations in virtual simulation on how to make construction more sustainable.
Project results:
1) One joint curriculum and online content for trainers that will allow them to create new experiences using extended reality.
2) A set of 20 XR exercises to train different steps in the construction sector including advices about waste valorization, circular economy and recycling.
3) Impact in stakeholders of the construction and VET sector through a set of dissemination actions webinars, presentations in congresses and other
online and local promotion actions.
